My name is Alexa Marie Koures. I have lived in North Carolina all of my life and have always dreamed of attending Chapel Hill. Both of my parents are UNC alumni and have been major inspirations to me. I have always loved science and I aspire to attend nursing school at UNC. My long term goals are to be a wife, mother, and move to Texas where it is warm and sunny! One of my favorite hobbies is wake surfing. I live on Lake Norman and have been wake surfing for two years now. Wake surfing is very fun, easy to learn, and a great exercise. You can learn more about wake surfing here.
